The purpose of Opened Practices is to share best practices for teaching and learning using open/community source tools. To support that sharing, we ask contributors to license their contributions with a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 United States License. This license allows others to use and benefit from contributions, while ensuring ongoing credit to its author. The license is noncommercial to encourage authors to share without fear that their works will be used commercially without explicit permission.
