Asynchronous forums using Photo Voice to build a community of scholarship

Offering and building a community of scholarship is a requirement of Graduate education. Many argue that students need to be “on site” to do this.

Through asynchronous discussions using “Quilting”, “Photo Voice” and the “1 minute debate” this course demonstrated that a depth and breath of scholarship can be built in the virtual community. A dynamic community of scholarship that can be sustained beyond the time frame of any course
