Course uses some of the features of Sakai at our university. The students use other features available on the internet so that they each have their own record as well as the work that they turn in. The ability for each student to use the Blogger on the internet, still email and work with groups via Sakai, use Google docs, watch video from links on the Sakai helped throughout the course.

Sakai actually acts as the organizer for the students - who must then reach out to other links. They must look at and submit material through Sakai, keep organized so that they do not do work that someone else in their group is doing - and that is done through Sakai. Groups change throughout the time of the course, and that mean that contacting the group members is done through Sakai - so they get use to the work and organization that must flow when they are professional.
