I have worked as part of the Study Advice Service team since 2002 at the University of Hull. I am a research assistant in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Cambridge. My role involves conducting educational research into teaching and learning within the department, and creating e-learning resources for students to support this.

Chris Thomson completed his PhD studying how software development teams respond to changes made to their projects at the University of Sheffield. In his postdoctoral research he investigated how testing methods are used by software development teams and how conflict affects their projects also at Sheffield. He is now at the University of Hull developing an online community for doctoral students that focuses on skills training.
