The innovation in this course revolves around wikifolios. Wikis, wiki commenting, and other features of Indiana’s OnCourse platform are used to foster engagement and to balance participation and accountability. The course serves a challenging mix of educators, designers, trainers, & researchers.

This practice is a proof of concept demonstration of one way to implement the AAC&U VALUE Rubrics in Sakai/OSP. We have created a matrix for a possible undergraduate learning experience, a set of evaluation forms using the AAC&U VALUE Rubrics, and a glossary explicating AAC&U Essential Learning Outcomes. These Sakai/OSP data structures can be used to create a portfolio implementation to assess student learning across and beyond the curriculum.

OSP Template

This template was an attempt at improving the user's experience in creating multiple forms that would end up as pages of their ePortfolios. We needed a template that provided a flxed number of tabs (this one has six) but has an infinite number of secondary navigation pages. This portfolio is set up as a "resume"-style template, but can easily be customized for different purposes. We still provide the guided framework of a matrix-created template but we use only the portfolio tool. We customize this for various projects on our campus that focus on the site-development aspects

How do I use OSP Forms, Wizards, Matrices and Templates from this library in my instance of OSP?

The OSP tools allow you to import and export data structures into a zip file format. To import a zip file that you find in this library you need to download it from this web site, upload it into resources in an instance of Sakai and import the zip file from the appropriate tool.
