Short Biography: I teach in Microbiology and forensic science at a rural university in Australia (yes there are kangaroos on campus). I have teach internally, by distance and in blended mode. I am a advocate for teaching innovation at my university and hold workshops across mutliple campuses. My teaching style for studentd in 2nd year and above is constructionist based which brings with it challenges plus many rewards especially when working with people with more work experience than i have life experience. I am a member of the teaching and learning committe and am committed to researching teaching practices alongside of my more traditional bench type research as a microbiologist.

Sakai Award

The Sakai Foundation is pleased to announce the winners of the 2010 Teaching with Sakai Innovation Awards. Winners in the 3rd annual competition are:
